Robbie will study PIF transcription factors and their targets and explore whether there are epigenetic influences on light responses. In her own lab Laura studies plant viruses; in Sarah's lab she will study how maize leaf architecture affects virus movement. JiKai will study the functions of CLE proteins during Arabidopsis embryogenesis.
