At the AAAS Annual meeting, she will attend the section business meeting and general section officers’ meeting, as well as the planning meeting for the next Annual Meeting. She will take active roles in a) identifying opportunities for involvement of affiliated organizations in section affairs, including at Annual Meeting Symposia; (b) identifying broad issues in science of interest to the section and to the association overall; and (c) commenting on the operations and priorities of the Association, including proposing new initiatives deserving consideration in future planning.
